Here’s how it works:
You’ll get a discount for the hours you volunteer. We use a simple credit-based system:
1 hour = 1 credit
Some roles (setup, breakdown, late-night, cleanup) earn bonus credits
How to sign up:
- Pick your volunteer slots: Choose the shifts you want to work.
- Fill in your details: Enter your name, phone number, and email during signup.
- Add a comment: Be sure to include “Time for Time” in the “My Comment” section so we know you’re participating.
Once you sign up for “Time 4 Time” volunteering, we’ll validate your details. Our volunteer coordinator will then get in touch with all the information you need, along with your unique promotion code.
How to Register for the Festival:
- Wait for your email with the promotion code and credits.
- Go to https://austinspringtango.com/.
- Complete the festival registration form, select your tickets, and apply your promotion code at checkout.

Credits volunteered can be exchanged for the following benefits

Volunteer Credit & Pass Policy
Milonga and Full Festival passes are limited and awarded based on availability. Time-for-time exchanges are primarily intended to support volunteers with financial need, including students (such as UT students), while still recognizing the contributions of all volunteers.
Bonus Credit Roles
Some volunteer roles earn additional credits due to difficulty, timing, or workload:
- Setup / Breakdown: 1.25 credits per hour
- Late-Night Shifts (after 11pm): 1.5 credits per hour
- Post-Evening Milonga Cleanup: 1.5–2 credits per hour
- Food & Beverage Support (Saturday Asado): 1.25 credits per hour
